The company is being led by former New York State Parks Commissioner Bernadette Castro, whose father founded it in the 1930s with the idea of saving space in the home. Castro, who served under Gov. George Pataki from 1993 to 2005, worked with her children to relaunch the brand. Their first product could revolutionize the storage-based sleeping industry.
