Just a quick note to let you know I received the attached order promptly this morning and was quite pleased with the delivery process….Overall, I am quite happy with the ottoman and feel confident it will serve us well for years to come just like our prior Castro Convertibles couches. In addition, I did receive the two ottoman slipcovers so kudos to Jessica for her competent service in completing the order correctly. I'm so glad I watch Telecare TV and saw your commercial displaying the ottoman as I was unaware Castro was still doing business. The family reputation for quality and service was an important component in choosing the ottoman because it comes with a known history of reliability.

Thank you for my wonderful purchase
I purchased 2 of the twin size ottoman. The day after my purchase I received a call to confirm my order, and then they were delivered in less than a week. They are wonderful. I have leather furniture and the coffee cover matches beautifully. The mattresses are top quality and very comfortable. They are just the right size for my 6'2 inches sons. I would highly recommend every part of these ottomans. I am a very satisfied customer. You have an awesome company with delightful employees. Fantastic product.

Super but even this small is BIG
It makes up as a bed easily and arrives as described fully assembled. UPS was hard on the box and was scared bit all was well. Getting the plastic off the mattress takes awhile but it is protected and that made me feel good too.....the coffee cover is narrow wale corduroy. I bought a 72" table runner and ran it horizontally across to break the dark color a bit. It is now a beautiful addition to my living room. With a wicker tray on top. A second is in my bedroom as as settee and rolled together they are almost a queen sized bed.

Heavy Duty Ready For Company
I got 2 of these as I have limited bed space but wanted something nicer than a sofabed, inflateable, or cot. This can double duty with trays for a coffee table/ottoman before making as real a twin size bed. They have casters but they need 2 people to wrangle beyond pushing round a room, but you want well made. This is WELL MADE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Please excuse me for having this take so long. About a month ago I had a personal emergency and needed a twin bed in 3 days. I thought the 33” x 75 ottoman would do it – and a friend recommended both the ottoman and Castro Convertible, so I called and emailed. The next day a genuinely (not canned) polite and helpful (the two most desirable attributes in a sales person from my point of view!) woman named Jessica called back. Her customer service was excellent. She made sure that I was getting what I really needed, that she had recorded my order and my address correctly, told me what would come when, and advised me about dealing with their delivery people. Jessica said they would be willing to put the ottoman wherever I needed it and the one of the two delivery people – one driver and one deliverer - was!! – In fact, after putting it (without any fuss or fishing for a tip) where it needed to go, he opened it up and showed me how it worked even before I asked…maybe my middle-aged self triggered his chivalry or maybe he was just a nice guy, but regardless, he made it look like it was a pure pleasure for him to leave me happy. He was so nice, and kept worrying about hurting my floor – which he didn’t – as he rolled the boxed ottoman through the “living room” and “dining room” (it’s a small apt. so these are really euphemisms for little areas in the apt) into the back den/bedroom. As if that weren’t enough, the gray cover that came with this sale item came a day earlier than Jessica said it would…meaning she put that order in, too, right away!

We made the whole deal while I was walking in the street while doing six other things – and everything not only went right it went above and beyond right – to great customer service. And, to put the icing on the cake, the bed itself is fantastic. My brother was very happy there and slept better than he ever expected to sleep, given all that we were going through.

I can never thank you enough for being all that I grew up thinking you were…when I finally needed you, you lived up to your reputation and my highest expectations. How nice they were the same! Your customer service made dealing with our personal business just that much easier – priceless! Thank you!

Worth Every Cent! I bought the Deluxe twin ottoman for my x-sister-n-law who lives with me to sleep on & she absolutely loves it! I also tested it out when it first arrived & it was so confortable that I fell asleep on it. I also love the fact that it not only came pre-assembled but has wheels which make this sturdy piece of furniture easy to move & the converting option. Way to go Castro! For making a quality product for my family, house guests & I to enjoy for many years to come. LOve iT! :)

I purchased this for guest that stay over unexpectantly. Ended up being an emergency bed for my son when his new bedroom funiture did not arrive when expected. He loved it and wanted to keep it as part of his bedroom furniture! Was disappointed when I said no. Loved this Ottoman/hide a bed it looks great and it's very comfortable. Highly recommed it!

Excellent piece of furniture
Purchased this because I didn't want to have to buy bunk beds..this is great and when folded takes up very little space. When not in use its an ottoman. I keep it in a spare bedroom. Looks great and you would never know it doubles as a twin bed. It's also very comfortable. Great piece of furniture worth every dollar.

So glad you are back in business with this wonderful quality product which I have always found amazing. When a guest visits me in Las Vegas, the convertible ottoman is always ready, and I've owned it for over 30 years...still going strong. I think it's time to get a new one. I bought the original while managing the Times Square Castro Convertible store in the late '70's. Your dad gave me my first job in NYC in 1975. I remember finding a box in the store that had copies of the 45 r.p.m. record of "His Lips Got in the Way", or was it "The Slosh"? ...sung by Bernadette which I use to lip sync to at Xmas parties;) All the best with your new company.

I wanted to let you know I received my ottoman, sooner than promised and in good condition.
Most of my family has been here to take a look at this marvel and the one feature that really
stands out is how easy it is to open-just as shown on the video in the website. The second comment is about the mattress how comfortable it is and how thick. The person who took the order over the phone was very pleasant and patient. I was not sure if I'd like the cover but with her description of the item I was more at ease about ordering. Overall you have exceeded my

Perfect solution
This is easy to set up and nice looking to store in the room. Not necessary to hide it away like most rollaway or fold away beds. I would recommend this product wholeheartedly.

Dad (and 2 Teen Boys) Loves His Ottoman, New York City
For the last several years, my sons have been sleeping on air mattresses when they come over for their weekend visits. The beds worked OK, but took about 10 minutes to completely set up, and they took up so much floor space, that I could barely tip-toe around them when it was late at night. Have you ever stepped on an air-mattress in the dark?

Over the course of that time, I have had to replace several of them as a result of leaks. (I think it is because the boys walk on them too.) On some nights, I would wake up several times to find one of my sons sleeping on the hard wood floor. Imagine me on my knees at 3am, trying to turn on an air-compressor so that my 13 and 16 year old sons can have a decent night's sleep. This is literally a nightmare I dreaded.

Then I got my Castro Convertible ottoman! Seriously, I cannot tell you how much easier my life as a dad has improved with the addition of this bed. No more waking up to fill up an air-mattress and waking the kids up with an air-compressor. I can open this amazing ottoman in under 10 seconds, I am not kidding. There is no other bed like this! My sons love my Castro Convertible, and I have slept on it too. It is comfortable and feels solid like a real bed. I can tell it will last a lifetime. On the weekdays, I have it in front of the couch where I watch TV. This piece of furniture is a "Keeper".

wow! I am so glad that Castro is still making convertibles. The day after my wedding, we went to the showroom and bought my livingroom sofa/bed. At that time, we lived in Glen Cove,so it was close! It was so well made and comfortable, guests really loved it! When my kids were little, they would have their cousin over and all 3 little girls would camp out in the living room...Funny thing,the material was the same as the tan material on the ottoman. I think I have a good idea for our little guest room!!!

Castro Convertible Ottoman with Mattress
Very attractive ottoman during the day, and a sturdy bed at night. Well constructed. Easy to open and close. Firm mattress which I've topped with a feather bed for extra comfort. A "real bed" as opposed to a hide-a-bed or an inflatable, that you would be happy to use on a longterm basis yourself, or offer to an overnight guest without qualms.

I purchased two Castro Convertible Ottomans for my sister last fall. It was just before my niece's wedding to make sure there were extra beds for family traveling to Tennessee.

We rolled one into the office and one in the living room, that made 2 extra bedrooms. I used one, it was so comfortable, and so easy to roll around. After the wedding and the family left, I helped her push them both in the master bedroom, they fit perfectly at the foot of her king sized bed, and make a great bench for changing. The whole family loves them, me too!!!

Great for Grandkids

ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS!
This is a comfortable, sturdy piece of furniture that looks good as a table, ottoman or twin bed. The thickness of the mattress and the ease of use and the classic style make this an item you won't want to hide or store, you will use it every day. The packing box is extremely heavy but, once out of the box, this item is extremely easy to roll around without effort. I love mine!

I received the 39" Twin size Castro Ottoman with a taupe slipcover as a gift, and it sure is "deluxe!" By day, it's a beautiful, functional ottoman in my den, and then at night, it turns into a SUPER comfortable (and big!) twin-sized bed. It's more comfortable than my teenage girls' twin beds. Plus the quality is really unbelievable - so well-made, sturdy and easy to open. Even my eight-year old can move it anywhere and open it with ease. For sleepovers, we roll it from room to room in seconds - it can fit anywhere! We even use it as a cocktail table when our friends drop by. Now that I have one, I seriously could not live without it - and I'm ordering another because one just isn't enough! Of course I'll have to order extra slipcovers because my girls want some fun animal prints. Since the Castro Ottoman came into our house, we never opened an air bed again, and our frequent guests have thanked me...we all laugh because I used to have guests sleeping on the floor, now they sleep in style! It's true what you say - YOU SO NEED ONE OF THESE!!
